Jeff Steinhour


Jeff joined Markham Cronin to form Markham & Stein in January 2016. Prior to Markham & Stein, he spent 24 years at Crispin Porter + Bogusky where he served as Managing Partner and Global Vice-Chairman.  As an original Partner of CP+B, Jeff was instrumental in building the agency’s legendary creative reputation and its subsequent global growth to nine offices around the world. During his tenure at CP+B the agency was named Agency of the Year nine times over a 15 year period including Agency of the Decade (2000 – 2010) by Advertising Age.

Today Jeff leads the business and operational functions of the agency working alongside Markham on all M&S accounts. With 30 years of agency management experience in almost every consumer category, Jeff adds sharp business acumen to the M&S team. He has managed and grown a diverse list of brands over the years including AT&T, Domino’s, Coke Zero, Nike, ConAgra, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, IKEA, Best Buy, Arby’s, Virgin Atlantic, Applebee’s, Under Armour, Sprite, Fruit of the Loom and The accounts he has personally led have won numerous national and international industry awards, including 24 Lions at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity.

Jeff currently serves on the Boards of several universities, including the University of Miami School of Communication, the University of Colorado School of Communications, University of Miami Business School Marketing Advisory Board and was Chairman of the Board of the Virginia Commonwealth University Brandcenter where he served for 13 years. He resides in Coral Gables with his wife and three children.
