To celebrate the effervescent escape provided by the superior vintages of Santa Margherita Sparkling Rosé and Santa Margherita Prosecco, we crafted a campaign to capture the euphoria and escape inherent in experiencing them.
Uncork Extraordinary is about articulating the feeling of dreamy bliss that Santa Margherita Sparkling Rosé and Prosecco can evoke in a unique, organic and purely visual way. This campaign was shot on location in Miami, using practical effects entirely under water, by Michael David Adams, a NYC-based fashion photographer who specializes in this type of work.
The true underwater environment helped us achieve a realistic and candid atmosphere that captured the dreamy and otherworldly yet soothing aesthetic that perfectly communicates the euphoria felt when enjoying the product. The effervescence of the scene and the variegated dark cherry background reinforce the connection to the brand and the sparkling nature of the products.
The shoot itself was the result of months of planning, location scouting, casting, stylists, and aquatic production consultants. The resulting collaboration created the iconic imagery for this campaign that will bring a fresh new dimension to the Santa Margherita brand of sparkling varietals, and launches in November, 2017 in select markets.
